today, i went with my mom to the luthier to get my violin fixed--i have a loaner until tuesday. we got lunch together at this cute thai place and the waiter was super peppy but there was this lady next to us who was having a crisis about not having a ride out from the restaurant. after lunch, we went to the library so i could pick up the midnight library, and then we went to the theater and watched the boy and the heron. after dinner with dad (we had home cooked salmon and lettuce and some leftovers), mom and i watched till we meet again and half of ghost (yue lao reminded her of ghost lol).
i'm getting a little nervous because i still have not touched the music cs project that i'm working on with my two friends, and i'm not sure if two days is gonna be enough for me to complete it. i might have to cancel some plans. i really need to start grinding it.
over today was a day really nicely spent. it's really nice to spend time with my mom. she's the best. i feel like every time i'm alone with her i get this wild new lore drop from her past or just some really wholesome story. it's nice to know more about her.
